About Love Life More

You’re here because something in you knows there’s more. More joy available in the everyday. More life to be lived in the time you already have. More of you that deserves to show up — not when everything is sorted, not when the kids are older or the house is finished or you finally feel ready. Now. As things actually are.

This Is Love Life More

Love Life More is a space for people who want to engage more fully with the life they have — not a perfect life, not a future life, but this one. It’s about finding the magic in ordinary moments, saying yes to the things that scare you a little, and gradually, gently, moving yourself back up your own list.

We write about personal development that doesn’t take itself too seriously, travel that feeds the soul rather than just ticking boxes, wellbeing practices that work in real life, and the honest, sometimes messy experience of actually trying to live better. No quick fixes. No perfect morning routines. Just real people, genuine exploration, and the belief that small intentional practices create meaningful change over time.

Loving life more is a practice, not a destination. Which means some days it looks like a mountain climb or a new adventure — and some days it looks like a bath at the end of a long day and being grateful you made it through. Both count. All of it counts.

The People Behind It

Tanya — Founder

tanya-in-happy-place-with-trees

I’m Tanya — eternal optimist, Reiki practitioner, reader, knitter of questionable hats, and someone who spent a long time putting herself firmly at the bottom of the pile. Love Life More grew out of the moment I decided to stop doing that.

I’m on a spiritual journey that has deepened significantly in recent years. I believe in something greater than us — in the universe providing when we trust it, in signs and synchronicities, in the idea that everything has a purpose. I also believe that you don’t have to have it all figured out to start living more fully. I certainly don’t.

I’m turning 40 this year, I have younger children, a dog called Rocky, and a list of forty things I’ve committed to doing before my birthday — including holding a tarantula, climbing Snowdon, and knitting a jumper I’ll have to wear for the whole day whether it’s good or not. Life here is real, not curated. I hope that’s why you’ll stay.

Read my 40 before 40 list to get a proper feel for who I am.

Ruth — Contributor & Slow Travel Writer

ruth-mayhew-author-love-life-more-blog

Ruth is the voice behind our Slow Across the World series — a first-hand account of what happens when you quit your job, pack everything you need into a carry-on bag, and spend fourteen months travelling slowly across South America with your partner.

Ruth writes about slow travel, intentional living, and the particular kind of freedom that comes from stepping off the treadmill entirely. She’s also the woman who completed fifty brand new experiences in her fiftieth year — not from a pre-written list, but by simply saying yes as life unfolded. You can read that story here: 50 New at 50.

Ruth and I are different people with different voices and different seasons of life — and that’s exactly the point. There’s more than one way to love life more. We’re here to show you a few of them.
