About these terms

These terms apply when you use lovelifemore.uk or book a reiki session with me. Love Life More is run by Tanya Gordon, a sole trader based in England. By booking a session or using the site, you agree to them.

How I use your personal information is explained separately in the Privacy Policy.

Booking a reiki session

You book through the online calendar, which asks for at least 5 days’ notice. Your booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation message.

Sessions take place at my treatment room in the village of Congerstone. I will send you the full address, along with where to park and how to get in, in your confirmation email.

Before your session I ask you to complete a short intake form. Please answer it honestly and tell me if anything changes before your appointment, as it helps me treat you safely. I may need to postpone or decline a session if the information suggests it would not be suitable.

Please arrive a few minutes early. If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened so that it does not affect the next person.

Your right to cancel within 14 days of booking

Because you book online, you have a legal right to cancel your booking within 14 days of the day you book, without giving a reason. To cancel, email hello@lovelifemore.uk or reply to your confirmation message, saying clearly that you want to cancel.

Many sessions take place inside that 14-day period. When you book, you will be asked to confirm that you want your session to go ahead within it, and that you understand you lose your right to cancel once the session has been fully carried out.

If you cancel within the 14 days after making that request, you only pay for any part of the session already given, in proportion to the whole session. If you cancel before your session starts, you will not be charged.

Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 48 hours’ notice by replying to your confirmation message or emailing me, so the slot can be offered to someone else. This applies whether or not you are still within your 14-day right to cancel, and I would always be grateful for as much notice as you can give.

If your 14-day right to cancel has ended and you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, or do not attend, the full price of the session becomes payable, because the time has been reserved for you and I may not be able to offer it to someone else.

If I need to cancel or reschedule, I will tell you as soon as I can and offer you another time. If I have taken payment, I will refund it if we cannot find a time that suits you.

What reiki is and is not

Reiki is a complementary therapy designed to promote relaxation and general wellbeing alongside standard medical care. It does not replace professional medical treatment, and it does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition. I cannot promise any particular result, as everyone’s experience is different.

Please keep taking any treatment or medication prescribed by your doctor. It is a good idea to tell your GP or main healthcare provider about any complementary therapies you use, so they have a full picture of your wellbeing.

You stay fully clothed throughout. Reiki can be hands-on or hands-off, and a session can be fully hands-off if you prefer, so just tell me what you are comfortable with. You can ask me to pause or stop at any point.

The aftercare guidance I give you after a session is general wellbeing advice, not medical advice. If you feel unwell afterwards, please seek medical help in the usual way.

Payment, website use, affiliate links and reviews

Payment. Prices are shown on the page you book from and vary with the length of the session. Payment is due on the day by bank transfer, cash or card.

Website content. The blog and Love Life Favourites pages share my own experiences and general wellbeing ideas. They are not medical, financial or professional advice.

Using the site. All content on lovelifemore.uk belongs to me unless stated otherwise. Please do not copy it for commercial use without asking first. I try to keep information accurate and up to date, but I cannot guarantee that it always is.

Liability, changes and contact

Nothing in these terms limits my responsibility for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow me to limit. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Subject to that, I am not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for any decision you make about your health instead of following your doctor’s advice.

I may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to your session.
